Spring at the WJAX
Spring will once again be broadly covered at WJAX:
- Monday I will do the Spring Powerworkshop. This will give a general introduction to the Spring framework. I am looking forward to all the newbies and lots of interesting questions.
- Wednesday will be the Spring Day. We will have talks aoout:
"Conversations with Spring" will show the support for conversations not just for the Web in the upcoming Spring 3.1 release. (Agim Emruli, Micha Kiener)
Then I will talk about Spring Roo, the new tool for highly productive Java development.
In the next talk Stefan Scheidt will show how Spring Roo can be used to create a backend for iPhone Applications.
"Spring in the Cloud" will show approaches to use Spring as a Cloud Programming model. (Christian Dupuis)
Then Mike Wiesner will introduce us to the new features in Spring Security 3.
I will also do a talk about modern Enterprise Architectures and show how different approaches fit into the IT landscape.
And then on Friday I will do a Power Workshop about architecture and other advanced Spring topics.
